Visiting Yachts Information
Moorings:
Visiting yachts using guest moorings may be accommodated for up to one full week (seven consecutive days) with a maximum of 10 days total for the season.Exceptions may be made by the Commodore.
The Yacht Club is available for visiting yachts from Fourth of July until Labor Day.
Cost of Moorings per night:
Under 35 feet $40
35’ up to 45’ $50
45’ up to 60’ $60
60’ and greater $100
Mooring fees include:
1 bag of trash
Fee showers
Free water (15 minute maximum)
Swimming pool access
10 night maximum stay per season (Commodore may grant longer lengths of stay)

Day Mooring
(11 AM - 3 PM) $30. Free if having lunch at the WHYC Snack Bar.

Yachts on own anchor:
Dinghy landing fee (Drop-off, Pick-up, and Tie-up) $20 per occurrence.
Trash $5 per bag
Showers $5 each
Launch service $10 per occurrence

(anchored and on guest moorings) will be charged:
$5 per bag of ice

Pre/Post Season Mooring Fees
The Yacht Club is available for visiting yachts from Fourth of July until Labor Day.
There is a $25/day mooring fee during pre and post WHYC open season, regardless of length of boat. 10 night maximum stay per season applies.
Reservations for moorings are accepted online by using the registration form at the top of this page. You may also call the Dock Office at (207)-963-2346.
Credit cards, cash or checks are accepted.

Amenities:
The following amenities are available to visiting yachts paying for the use of a WHYC Guest Mooring:
Showers
Showers are available from 8 to 11 AM and 2 to 5PM.
Launch Service
The Club Launch service typically runs daily from 9 am until 6 pm and may be requested by calling VHF Channel #9.
Snack Bar
Serving Winter Harbor Yacht Club Members and Visiting Yachtsman.
Lunch Hours: 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

"Launch Lunch" service is available from 10AM to 2PM.
Pool
Visiting yachtsmen have use of the Grindstone Association Pool located just up the hill from the Yacht Club.
Pool hours are:
Monday – Saturday10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Sunday11:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Golf

Dock Space
Dock space is for loading and unloading. NO OVERNIGHT DOCKING IS AVAILABLE.
